Dr. Michael Grillo is a passionate, patient-centered Cardiologist who specializes in providing exceptional cardiovascular care to his patients.
Raised in the Dominican Republic and Florida, Dr. Grillo received his medical degree from Universidad Iberoamericana de Santo Domingo. He moved to New York City and completed his Internal Medicine Residency at The Brooklyn Hospital Center where he was recognized for his outstanding leadership and selected as an administrative chief resident for an additional year. He was the recipient of the Chairman’s Award for the extraordinary patient care and leadership he provided during his residency. He then completed his cardiovascular disease fellowship at The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital, New York.
Dr. Grillo returned to South Florida and joined MyCardiologist in August 2022 with an emphasis to serve the Hispanic community who suffer from cardiovascular disease.
He is fluent in Spanish and English and is excited to serve the Miami community.
