Tamara Mishkel is a board certified Physician Assistant. She earned a Bachelor of Science from Barry University, a Bachelor of Applied Science, Physician Assistant concentration, from Miami Dade College and a Master of Medical Science from Saint Francis University. Prior to attending PA school she worked in the field of Cardiology for 11 years, performing a wide range of cardiovascular diagnostic testing. She is a member of the Florida Academy of Physicians, and is a Registered Diagnostic Cardiographic Sonographer, and Certified Cardiographic Technician.
Tamara strives to be an empathetic and dedicated provider whose goal is to provide optimal patient care. She is also passionate about preventative medicine and mental health. She hopes to help patients develop mindfulness and reduce their stress, as this has proven benefits for cardiovascular health.
